Citroen C4 Cactus

I had one of these as a hire car the other day. I've not felt so ridiculous in ages.

What do you think?

I seem to have lost the ability to make this a poll.

Would the poll usually be a spare part for a barge?
I'd use it to touch a Cactus , if it wasn't so cheaply made.

Touching the cactus does sound like a very dodgy euphemism.

When they first came out, I did actually quite like them. Well it was different from the norm, which was good enough to get my vote...initially. Then I test drove one and fell out of love quite quickly. Very cheap inside, very slow and handled rubbish.

Me too . I quite liked the neutrality of the design but it's so cheaply done and the rear door Windows don't even go down. The benchish front seat still has all the heater box in front of it where you'd put your feet. Bogus

I bit of sick just came up, sorry about that but the memory of having to drive one for 3 weeks does that to a chap.

It's kind of amorphous but it's got a car- like profile with big radii.

Really? I understand it's quite a cheap car compared to a regular c4?

The range is very clever though, as the spec you'd really want if you're into the design adds a serious expense; nicer wheels , interior colours that show off the features and the bench seat cost much more .

See, you've fallen for Citroen's marketing.

It's based on the C3, not the C4.

The raised bits on the sides made me think of a "ribbed" prophylactic.

Office Chair.

Take the plastic bits off to make a family of sledges from and use what's left as a bin.

No, it's not cool and can't imagine it ever will be.

Seriously mingingly uncool.

Cleverly marketed to hype it into something it patently is not.
