As this is a detailing competition, i find it strange that entries are not required to explain in some detail what was done to the car?
PS: If this post somehow was unfitting in this thread then remove it

Hi
To satisfy your curiosity in my case the process was as follow:

Jet wash the car with Karcher K 2.900
Filled up a bucket with hot water and mixed two caps of Autoglym Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner
Washed the whole car with above water using sheep skin gloves bought from Halfords including the alloys.
Rinsed the car with Karcher K 2.900
Took off excess residue of water
Dried the car using large yellow microfiber towels
Clay bared the whole car using Autoglym Clay Bar and Autoglym detailer
Polished (by hand) the car with Mer Ultimate Shine Polish using microfiber cloths
A lot of buffing with other microfiber cloths
Not happy with this I used Autoglym super rasin polish as top coat
A lot more buffing and cloths being used (more washing for the wife)
Greased the tyres
Applyed Autoglym alloy wax
Buffed the excess wax off the alloy
Reapplied a second coat of alloy wax
Buffed the excess again
A lot of elbow grease in the process
Put all the equipment away once finished
Enjoyed looking at the car for a while and drove it

:-) :-)

Yes it's encouraged that entries include some details, all details provided are included in the poll thread which may help some voters to decide which entry they think deserves to win. If you car has just been washed then that's OK, sometimes a wash is all a car needs so don't be afraid to say the car has only been washed

Normal wash today as follows:

Snow foamed (as always) with Valet Pro Advanced Neutral Snow Foam
Washed using two bucket method
Jetwashed to rinse
Dried with micro fibre towel
Tyres treated to Meguiars Tyre Gel

Then the sun went in just as I took the pics
