Instrument Console Damage ... Help

I used a cloth to wipe the plastic covering the center instrument cluster on my 147 GTA and it left marks behind and I'm now scared to touch it again in case I make it worse. The cloth seemed clean and dry at the time but I had been using it to apply 303 protectant a few days earlier. It's been suggested that window cleaner will fix it but looking for as much info as I can get before I touch it again. Pic is attached, thanks for any suggestions

For anyone who has the same issue, the only way I was able to get rid of these marks was with Meguiars scratchX2.0 which is designed to get rid of swirl marks. I used it to polish my headlights so I thought it might work on the instrument plastic too, and it did
