My entry!

Gave her a wash and wax today with the Fusso Soft99. Probably last chance I will have this side of Christmas.

Washing a car when it is foggy is not easy!

My entry, was cleaned yesterday. No sun so no good sunny photos to be honest.

Getting ready for winter so was just a wash and dry then one coat of Auto Finesse Passion Wax.

Mine came back from the garage today after having the clutch done. Covered in oily handprints. Tomorrow will be a detailing frenzy....

Not a bad entry Dan. Love your Brera

Here is my effort. Removing orange peel from my front wing. Wet sanding, compounding, polishing and refining. All with Meguiars products. I was happy with the shine...

Purely to make up the numbers. How to make a 160,000 mile Saab look less sheddy using car shampoo from poundland, and a spot of 2000 grade wet & dry and compound to lose a nasty scratch on my front wing.

Gave mine it's first detail earlier this month consisting of:

Magifoam pre-wash
Meguiars Gold Class shampoo
Farecla G3 clay mitt + Meguiars Ultimate Quik Detailer
Dodo Juice Supernatural Hybrid wax
Poorboys Wheel Sealant
Mr Shine prototype rain repellent.

It seems hard to get decent mirror-like reflections from white, especially on a dull day, but here goes...

You haven't got to grips with this detailing have you?

Stuff from Poundland,

it's supposed to be tiger gonad wax applied with your panda skin polishing mitt.

I still get Honest Akbar to do mine for a fiver, including polish and chamois dry.

Sometime I go the whole hog and get the inside and outside done, £12 with a complimentary air freshener too.

To be fair the dings and scratches on mine (which made it the bargain it was) make detailing a complete waste of time, effort and money.

e.g. rather than repair or respray the scratched bonnet I put an unblemished s/h one on and it was cheaper than the other options. Also still think another o/s rear door will be cheaper than sorting the scratches too.
