I use a faux lambs wool also used a lambs wool before, both have been spot on for me, think microfiber would drag the dirt a bit more as it's not as soft.

I have tried many mitts over the years and am perfectly happy with my cheap noodle mitt. The CarPro seems popular Merino Wool Wash Mitt - CarPro UK as does the Incredimitt Microfiber Madness Incredimitt - Detailing World

This is the best wash mitt I have ever used, and I have used everything from noodle wash mitts to expensive Milano wool ones.

I have a Meguiars Wool Mitt as well as their Microfibre one. I find the wool one has a bit more "bite", the MF sliding across the surface more easily. Wool Mitts are generally considered superior.

Either an Autobrite Direct lambs wool or a Dooka lambs wool.
