Thinking about claying??

Then my advice is to stop thinking and start doing!!

For years I've thought about claying but never bothered to do it as I never appreciated the potential results.

Well not any more!!!

Yesterday I bought the megs clay kit and went about claying the GT for the first time. I'm majorly impressed with the results!! The Atlantico blue looks like glass now, so smooth I cant help but touch the body work at every opportunity!!

I followed this by using some AG SRP with a (crap) machine polisher and it just looks fantastic!!

Now I'm in two minds as to wether I should apply the megs carnabanana (lol) wax or really treat it and get some HD wax?!

I'll be giving it a quick wash again this afternoon and follow with the wax. Oh, need to clean the wheels too!!

I'll post pics when I'm done!!

Really impressed with this claying malarky, I keep peering out of the window to admire it

Deffo find time to do it, you won't regret it!!

Ok, went out and bought some HD wax and spent another 3 hours washing and waxing again.

I'm made up with the results.

Pics will be up later or maybe tomorrow.

SRP doesn't need a fancy buffer, it works really well by hand and anything else is a bonus but not essential

We need pictures

Clay bar is great and the paint feels like glass after it almost makes you want to keep feeling your car

Ah yes, that old trick. I'm a big fan of that myself (ignore the polish residue on the windscreen and the dodgy front bumper)

Looks good. Clay sounds like a crazy idea but it really works. AG SRP and HD wax are also very good.
