OEM Paint application

Sorry this is slightly over old ground I have ordered the oem touch up sticks for my beloved Alfa. I was going to use a fine artist brush as suggested elsewhere in this forum. My question is how would I clean the brush afterwards for further use. Is the normal white spirit ok for automotive paint? Any advice or indeed tips gratefully received as this is my first attempt at cosmetic repair.

Yeah use the brush. Take your time in building up the chips very carefully. You'll do well to invest in a run razor, that way you can build the chips high and then shave them down, a quick flat and a polish and you'll have a much nicer finish. As for cleaning use thinners, just check what type of touch up you have though solvent/acrylic etc. If you need any further info just drop me a pm. All the best - Kev
