Gtechniq C2 would cut down the time it take to do it

I can "seal" a whole car in ~10 mins with that stuff and it lasts ages

What stuffs that Jim? 10,500RPM, when i went out this morn every neighbours car had frozen windows apart from mine! Is that normal with G1? I know it stops ice bonding but didnt think it would stop it completly!

Usually, yes. If it's really cold the ice will form on the windows but it pushes off like a sheet of (dry) paper, I also think it needs to be foggy for ice to form on G1.

Would you believe me if I said no?

Their range is amazing, it's pretty small but they cover most areas of a car and can not be beaten imho. My first products were G3 and I1 iirc and they were amazing so I tried everything else (besides S1, their polishing pads and mf's). P1 was the only product I didn't like until I realised that you need to degrease the whole car before using it, I love it now

G4 is actually fairly cheap for a glass polish too and I even using it for "cheap valets"

By the way, C1 visibly changes the colour of anything it touches, it actually changes the shade of the paint and make plastics (lights etc) look like they have a clear glossy film on them. There is a video on Youtube which clearly demonstrates this, I'll try and find it now.

**edit* Found it

You can see the rough 50/50, this is visible when applying it. I'm pretty sure the video was submitted by "Dream Machines" on Detailing World.

Good work Phil, looks great.

Those black marks where very similar to what I had on my wheels when first got them.

IMG_0877.jpg

I used some Megs mild clay to shift it. It took me days to do all four wheels but since I've sealed them it's keeping them clear of the stuff.

Heres a pic post clay

Great work Gizto..............I'm not a massive detailer...........I have clayed the GTA, and I like to wash once a week and keep it polished, touch in stone chips etc, but there is usually something mechanical that needs my attention before detailing. It's great to see people with such enthusiasm for keeping their car looking better than when it left the showroom though

Thanks mate. Speaking of stone chips ive got quite a few and the fact that the primer is white doesnt help!
