Chilling Quick detailer....and a wax

Is it possible to make up quick detailer at home? At the moment I'm applying a pea sized drop of SRP and then spraying the area with water and giving it a quick going over which works well.
I've also used SRP and EGP mixed to give a very thin liquid polish/sealant with good results.

Also what is the best wax people have found on Alfa's, I'm trying to get a Black 159 up to scratch. Previous owner has parked it under a tree for years by the looks of it. I've managed to clay all the sap off and now need to start protecting it.

Just wondered what other people have tried???

My favourite waxes on black are

Blackfire

Blackfire Midnight Sun Ivory Carnauba Paste Wax - Blackfire Car Care and Detailing Products

Raceglaze 55

Raceglaze Signature Series '55' | Raceglaze Car Care & Detailing Products

and Victorias Consourse, can't remember where I bought it though. Tbh all waxes of the same type (carnauba, beeswax and selaents all have a different look) will give the same result. Dodo juice orange crush is the best smelling wax imo.

This time of the year collinite 476s is the daddy. It's well renowned for being super durable. Another great wax is Meguiars #16. It's so easy to use, give's great looks and is very durable also. And for £11 for a huge tin it's awesome value.

Im not sure about the QD creation but with regards to waxes i can recommend CG Petes 53 and although its not a wax but a sealant Finish Kare 1000p Hi Temp Paste is awesome! Same durabilty roughly as Colly and under £20 for a monster of a tin.
