Engine covers - red wrinkle paint

Has anyone used red wrinkle paint to paint the engine cover on a V6 engine?

I am considering spraying the front cover in the picture below either aluminium silver, or wrinke red (think Ferrari intake plenums) with the Alfa Romeo logo polished then lacquered.

Any advice and or pictures please?

Cheers
Alan

Yes, Jon/Om nom nom or whatever he calls himself now had his done in red. Not sure it was wrinkle paint though and I would think it would trap a lot of dirt in the wrinkles.

Thanks guys, and thanks for link Paul.

I know what you mean Roberto, but that part of my engine is looking really tatty now. I'm going to give it a try and if it doesn't work, I'll get another part from a breakers, and try something different.
