Grease/Smudge mark..

I have had a "phantom" hand print appear on the bonnet of my motor. Now I have now idea how it got there (dont recall any pedestrians gettin in my way) but the problem is it wont shift.

I tried just soap and water, nothing. A proper turtle wax and polish and even T-cut, nothing seems to be working. Now I guess the its "just" a greasy mark. Anyone have any idea on what I could?....although it seems I am destined to have this ghostly print for life

If it is grease, try a non solvent based degreaser like AG's engine and machine cleaner. I'm guessing it's a paint defect that has flowered with heat. No cure for that if so other that a visit to the body shop.

If it's on the surface of the paint then clay will take it off no probs.
