Well Happy Product advice wanted............PLEASE

Hi
Been a bit lazy about cleaning and polishing recently .
But about to pick up a Brera (57) in Alfa Red .
Couple of questions .
Had a Red 147 and used to polish with Autoglym Deep Gloss and finish with P21s.
As the date on the P21s is 140405 it's a few years old. Is it still ok to use , or are there other product now on the market which are much better?
I found the P21s excellent as no white marks were left on the trims etc, The Autoglyms you have to be carefull.
Also as the Brera has a glass roof, do you use glass cleaner or is there a special product available?
Any advise is most welcome .
Steve

I use Autoglym super resin polish and finish off with Dodo Juice Wax (expensive but what a shine)

For your glass roof, Autoglym do a glass polish. It's really easy to use & gives fantastic results.

For bodywork I'm a fan of Super Resin Polish, followed by Bilt Hamber AutoBalm & use Autoglym Aqua Wax after each wash.
As it's a used car, I rekon it will be well worth while to clay it first.
Good luck with your new car

I am a great fan of P21S. I use Car-Lack Sealant topped with the P21S.

Being a pure carnauba wax I would not worry too much about an expiry date.

Another good glass product is AG Fast Glass. Its a spray as opposed to the cream/liquid that is AG Glass Polish. Last time i used the Glass Polish i got white/blue marks on my seat off my fingers as i tried to climb out of the back. AG Deep Gloss? Is that its propper name as im unsure which product youre refering to....theres Ultra Deep Shine which is similar to SRP but aimed at darker colours and then Extra Gloss Protection which is a Sealant. Maybe yours is a trade version as they have different names.

I wouldn't worry about the expiry date. P21s doesn't last very long and is best used as a summer wax. Something like Collinite 476s would be better for the winter when conditions are much harsher.

Ive been eyeing that kit up but ive bought so much recently! I have the Finish Kare sample pack from cyc and that has 1000p sealant in there. I havnt tried it yet but from what ive read they dont come much more durable than that stuff. Ive also just bought some Optimum products one of which is Opti-Seal. I got to try it yesterday on a frieinds car and i kid you not its so pathetically easy to apply! Its like wiping an mf pad around your car with nothing on and you use next to nothing. It can be applied on everything aswell. Oh did i mention it looks bloody amazing! The carlack twins are highly spoke of aswell

Am i right in thinking it was called Klasse? Ive just bought some Optimum gear springbok, and amongst those is the Opti-Seal. I helped a lad apply it at the local detailers last week and my god, its sooo easy to apply and no buffing. It looks pretty damn good aswell! Im gonna stop buying LSP for th etime being as ive got a few i havnt even tried! FK 1000p is one of them and i wanna get that on for the winter!

Yes, Car-Lack is sold in the USA as Klasse and in the EU as Car-Lack.

I think it is one of the best kept secrets of detailing. Especially on light colours like my silver 156. You can then play around with different Waxes and QD's as "toppers".

The twins look great with the AIO and Sealant.
