Blending in paint chips

ok, so i've touched up a few stone chips/minor scratches with a touch up kit. how do i now polish it all in so you can't tell it's been done?

what products do i need and what's the best method?

elbow grease is in plentiful supply...

If you are brave and think you can do it, only thing that will blend is yet sanding it flat them use a polishing compound to bring the shine back.

it's not elbow grease that required mate....

with the touch up just higher than the paintwork you will need 2000 grit paper and a lube, i use soapy water...

gently...and i do mean gently in strokes start rubbing the touched up paint down. keeping a close eye on it and surrounding paintwork, in order to check progress dry off the area, keep doing this until it is level with the surrounding paint, this can take time and i will guarantee you will have to dry it a couple of times to check progress.

once you have it all level you then start to polish the marks that have been left by sanding, again gently and checking that you dont 'break through' the paint frequently....

once happy with it then wax/polish with preferred product...

if you get it right you wont see it
