Collinite 915

Hi all,

Have just bought some collinite 915 off ebay in a moment of madness and just want to know if anyone on here has much experience of it (It seems to get good reviews on detailing world). I mostly use AG UDS as a lazy all in one step thing, would 915 be ok on top of the UDS? And would a top up of aqua wax after each wash be ok or not needed?

phew I think thats all the questions for now

Cheers

Best over srp if you can , Wont need aqua wax but going over with a detailer will keep it looking nice.

The collinite came in the post today so gave the GT a good wash, SRP then on with the wax. Found it really easy to use and it left a nice finish. Seems like a top notch product

Here are the photos of the GT with two coats of the colly 915 I promised. Used a couple of coats of SRP prior to the wax. Sorry about my poor photography skills and I know me wheel arches need a good blasting

Looks good mate. I fancy some of theat Colly stuff. Just don't put Aqua wax on top of it, it defies the point of using something like 915 in the first place. And anyway, Collinite is renowned for being extremely durable so a top up with 915 every couple of months should be all you need!

Just to update this the colly has been on for a couple of months now and the GT looks as good now as the day it was polished and waxed All she needs is a careful wash and dry once a week and she looks super shiny. Bloody good stuff I say May post some pics after washing it on saturday

Nice! I use Colly 476 and find it great. Generally its ok with just a wash & dry, but a wipe over with aquawax brings it up even nicer. Durability looks good to. I have even put on on my wheels

I've just gone from megs#16 to 476s. I think its even easier to use than megs, looks almost as good and the beading and sheeting is unbelievable.

Glad I posted the pics in this thread as it reminds me of how the GT looks without the topping of snow and salt everywhere Roll on spring
