No mitts, but a power washer

After reading SR's great wash guide, I just popped into the Newbury Tesco branch this morning to pick up their Finest dual sided wash mitt only to find they don't make them any more :-(

Still I did notice that they have a special half-price deal on the Karcher K2.54M T50 power washer for 80 - Hope this may help someone.

ChemGuy,

As it would happen I found myself in Halfords on the way home and picked up a couple of Megs mitts and a Water Magnet on their 3for2 deal. Just hoping it doesn't rain on Saturday...

Cheers,

Dave

So you haven't been tempted by snow foaming yet? I've always put the 156 through a car wash, so mitts and real shampoo is a major step forward for me... Knowing my ham fists, I'll struggle with that, so a power washer is a real no-no for me!

LIDL have a 2 pack for 1.99 if your after cheap ones. Theyre bright green. At the moment on Detailing World etc everyone seems to be using Grout Sponges
Tested a B&Q grout sponge....very surprised - Detailing World
I want one for my Optimum No Rinse. Other people swear by Zymol sponges aswell.

Not tried snow foaming though I know my mate at OCD does.
I'm still just using the 2 bucket method and a combination of lambswool and microfibre mit.
My technique certainly isn't perfect my alloys in particular let
me down.
Plus I've not waxed her yet!!
Results aren't too shabby though, will post some pics.
