Always shop around for your detailing products.

I'm planning experiment with two (possibly more) waxes on my car to compare durability/ gloss.
One that I will definitly be using is Dodo Juice Light Fantastic, the other will be a zymol wax.

I was pricing Zymol Concours wax when I found this

Zymol Zymol Ferrari Ital Carnauba Wax from Monza Car Care

The price put me off but decided that I'd buy it if I could get it a bit cheaper, luckily I found this website

Zymol NEW 2009 Ital Glaze for Ferrari (226g) 164

Listing error? I don't think so

ZYMOL ORIGINAL ITAL GLAZE 8 oz

Possibly. At the tender age of 20 I feel that if I don't spend my money I'll drink it, I know I certainly won't save it.

At one stage there was an Ital wax, cheaper than the Concours wax. Then it became the Ferrari wax and although the ingredient description did not change, the price went up several fold. Here in Australia from about 100 UK pounds to about 400 UK poumds. The 'new' one at 130 UK pounds seems to be in the OLD Ital wax packaging.

You could be right, it would save them a fortune on R&D costs by simply playing with their marketing strategies

I suspect they 'jacked' up the price in the USA by renaming the product as 'most' italian car owners in the US had Ferraris .
Elsewhere most people have other much cheaper Italian cars so it priced the product out of of the market. ...
A 'normal' person are hardly going to buy an inferior product to Concours at a higher price just because the name Ferrari is on the container..well hopefully

Looking at the US site, the Expensive Ferrari product seems to have gone

Unless your car is a dark colour, ideally black, you would be mad to spend anything like that money on wax! You just can't see the benefit on anything over than a dark colour. Of course you might have a dark coloured car in which case I'm not sure why i'm writing this!

If you are going to buy this stuff make sure that your paintwork is in pristine condition before you apply the wax.

I have a machine polished Africa Grey car

I wasn't a big fan of wax until I tried my mates Autoglym HD wax on my car, it really does make a difference

Definitely a waste of time on a silver grey but on red, blue, black etc it is worth it...... Well maybe
