Silicone Hose Cleaning/Polishing

i have just bought a set of red ( ) silicone hoses for my car's intake, but theyre a bit dirty, considering they are meant to be new.

whats the best product to clean them with/method of cleaning, and put a bit of a shine on?

Re: Silicone Hose Cleaning/Polishing

The biggest problem with silicone is that it's slightly "rubbery". If the cloth you're using has any lint in it, it sticks to the hoses.

I use trim cleaner (as long as it's clear / not coloured) or even Mr Sheen with a lint free cloth.
