leather care with colour ?

I have the red leather seats in my 156, i have a little wear on the drivers seat where my bum sits, and a little of the red in wearing away, it is time i gave me seats some leather TLC, does any of you guys know of a website that delivers a leather wax/polish/care oil etc that has already a colour in it (red) that will protect the leather and hide small marks?

kind of like a leather version of colour car paint polish?

any links to sites, or personal views would be great.

oh, the website must be able to deliver abroad (i live in norway)

thanks again

i dont think there is a such thing, but i would go with the CG of leather care, reason being its a A PH balanced leather cleaner to gently cleanse your leather so wont do any more damage to your seats and once cleaned use a A conditioning agent to preserve and protect your leather to stop any cracking

The finest car care and automotive detailing products available.

and im sure they wil post to you....

hope this helps

Re: leather care with colour ?

There are a lot of products which provide repair for leather seats by using a filler to repair the cracks / damage section and then recolouring the repair. I'm sure I remember someone advertising repair kits on ebay for Alfa leather seats but cant see it now.

a lot of companies advertising on ebay but you'd need the Alfa colour code for the red leather....

Speak to Steve, he is very knowledgeable and very helpful. Restored a Momo Tan GTV seat to "as new". Good Luck.

Re: leather care with colour ?

You're probably best of getting a professional job done. Home kits offer limited results, especially with colour matching.

Even then, if you're getting in and out of the car daily, a professional job will only last a year or 2. I got the driver's seat outside bolster touched up and it was as new, real good job and I was dead impressed but the filler and paint started to crack up after a year's worth of getting in and out. Doubt I'd get it done again tbh.

APPLICATION: To apply to Leather, wipe it on the leather using a microfiber or terry cloth applicator. Work the into the leather. Wait a few minutes for the leather to absorb as much as it will. Then buff the leather with a soft Microfiber Towel.
