Not Happy Chewing gum on leather!!!!

My best mate accidently sat in in some chewing gum and without me relising sat in my car!! He has now left a sticky mess on the leather seats. ive tried picking tthe worst of it off nut there still resadue there. does anyone know how to remove chewing gum from seats???

Rub it with an ice block to make it as hard and brittle as possible and scrape/pick off as much as you can.

Then use a good quality foaming leather cleaner and a small nailbrush to gently clean off the remainder. Be careful of sticky leather creams as this might just rub the residue into the leather.

White spirit will dissolve the chewing gum , my son sat on his in the wifes car and it came clean off with the spirit, smells a bit at first but soon evaporates .
