Auto glym HD wax

Bought some today, got two apllicator pads and a microfibre cloth too for cheap enough couldn't leave it behind me. We'll see what this is like now.

Anyone used it?

Re: Auto glym HD wax

Ive used it...very very good. Lovely finish as long as the paint is in good condition to begin with. Cant comment on how long it lasts or stands up to the weather as the car is covered.

Ahh cool nice one Oliver. I'll try it tomorrow and compare with the Collinite wax.

I've used it twice on my 159, today in actual fact. I like it and it lasted about 4-5 months. My car gets filthy so not bad imo.

Spring Clean test in Autoexpress this week. Didn't win because of the price but they said it's the one they'd choose if money wasn't a problem

Does it buff out okay? It sounds like Damian had some trouble getting it shiny... though of course he may have just been doing it wrong

It needs to be used on warm dry days as when it's cold & damp, it's a swine to get off (just like most other quality waxes)

Collinite wax? done a search for it as I'm going to give it a go, is it the 476s type wax or the margue d'elegance wax? And where is the cheapest place to buy it from?

Re: Auto glym HD wax

i meant the HD quite good, but the general rating of products is low. They look for cheap and cant seem to figure the difference between polish and wax.

Re: Auto glym HD wax

I didn't like it and from the pictures I know how to use wax etc I prefer my collinite to be perfectly honest. It's way better than the AG HD wax. I'll use the AG wax when the Collinite is gone. I got the AG cheap so it's all good.
