Thumbs Up Snow Foam

Used it today for the first time.

Mixed 50/50 with water in the dispenser bottle on my pressure washer, applied it (took two fills of the small bottle for each car), left it for no more than 5 mins and then washed off with the nozzle on the wide fan spray.

The car was filthy & even before washing with a mitt it was almost clean

So, as a pre-wash, I have to say I rate it

Cheers,

Re: Snow Foam

I've used a heavy duty TFR for snowing the car and it certainly helps. What make of snow foam did you buy?

As often as I can but it's hard for me at the moment & it took me two days to recover after Sunday

Whatever, I do my very best to wash them at least once a fortnight & this new snow foam stuff seems to make it easier

Indeed they have. MRI & CT scans on the 25th March so hopefully things will move quickly after them

Re: Snow Foam

I have the Bilt Hamber clay bar and think its really good, brought up my old 95 volvo's metallic paint, everybody commented on it. Sent some to a friend and she likes it too. Always thought these things were just a bit of nonsense until I tried it. Need to get round to doing my Alfa's now!!

Re: Snow Foam

Snowfoam is good stuff, I bought some recently from cleanyourcar.co.uk and have used it a couple of times as pre wash
I bought some Meguirs show car Glaze too, that is good stuff
My washing routine is now; snowfoam, wash, dry, polish, glaze, wax, glaze ... Thank god for Sundays!!!

Re: Snow Foam

Sorry to ask a question that might be a bit thick - but can you therefore apply snow foam without the special lance - which is what SR is saying ? If so - might pop along to the place where he purchased the product as they are on the back of Brands Hatch.

Halfords does a cheap and cheerful one for a Karcher around £15 that does the job.

Re: Snow Foam

Do halfords do a snow foam? I'm off there in 10mins for a few other bits and bobs so might pick up a karcher lance at the same time

Re: Snow Foam

Halfords didn't seem to have any snow foam but i got the lance anyway.
Can i put in car shampoo (megs goldclass) 50:50 water in the lance until i order some foam? Or will my drive end up looking like a foam party?!

Also picked up some AG aquawax as it seems to be liked on here. The next few hours shall be spent in the sun washing my car ready for tomorrow
