GT Dash and Interior - Matt finish?

The dash and some interior panels in the GT are a matt finish, i have only cleaned these with a damp cloth in the past scared that any dahboard products might make it shiny.

What are people using to clean their dash to keep the factory matt finish?

Damp cloth and perhaps spme AG interior shampoo if it's really grubby. Certainly no protectants though

On the 147's textured interior I only ever used a brush and then damp
cloth.

After cleaning everything, I would strongly recommend Poorboys. It is not at all glossy and is highly considered on Detailingworld, Autopia etc

Re: GT Dash and Interior - Matt finish?

That is the stuff, I have yet to see any negative comments on this product.

The key is to make sure everything is nice and clean before applying the Poorboys (or any similar product). A damp cloth is good for a quick clean but if you need something stronger try a damp cloth with Autoglym or Meguiars interior cleaners, rinse and buff with a dry cloth before applying the Poorboys

or...you could just briskly apply the Poorboys with a foam pad and this will remove most of the dirt.

soap and water will clean it and ensure a matt finish.

Another vote for Poorboys, much better than those shiny dash products. Hate them with a passion as they cause reflections in the windscreen which drives me mad.

A periodic wipedown with Meguiars Quick Interior Detailer will also give a matt finish.
