Interior roof

Any tips for cleaning the interior roof? It's light coloured fabric, and *someone* has opened a can of Coke and there's a good spray of it over the driver's seat (I won't say who, but as I don't drink Coke, and the stain is directly over hubby's driving position.....)

Anyway, I haven't tackled it yet, as I'm frightened of just making it worse

Help!

Re: Interior roof

The trick is to be as gentle as possible (both to the roof and hubby )

What you don't want is for the roof lining material to become detatched from the foam backing onto which it is stuck. It will start drooping and have to be completely replaced.

A good quality upholstery foam cleaner and a sponge with a microfibre cloth to wipe clean should do the trick. Try not to drench the material.

I can promise one of those, maybe not the other

Thanks for your reply, I'll give it a go when it's not so cold.
