Cleaning the inside of a windscreen.

The inside of my cars windscreen is begining to look like there is a lyer of Agar on it.

I've not had good experinces with these cleaning agests as the tend to leave marks behind.

What it the best thing?

Cheers Stuart

Lol....

It's all AG in AO it seems (not everything they make is the best out there)

Just about any window cleaning stuff will do, but don't buy the most cheapest....

The secret is in a good cloth! It makes ALL the difference in the world!

If you get good results using an old T-shirt, your cheating yourself :P

And don't use too strong stuff at the inside ... I have had customers that have ended up with white stain marks on the plastic/vinyl dashboard after using stuff meant for household windows cleaning. they can be quite nasty to get off...

As a hint: do not use a cloth (microfiber or any other) that has been used to apply waxes in the past... even if they have been washed 10 times after that... the window cleaning stuff can still have a "reaction" with the wax residue in the cloth which leaves ugly marks in the glass....

Daft as this may sound........
Vinegar & scrunched up newspaper works wonders, even stops misting and gets rid of any smells. oh and it doesnt leave any streaks.
Quite a few classic car owners swear by it.

In the world of modern chemicals and cleaning agents, nothing beats good old tried & tested methods.

If you can get hold of it, scrim makes and excellent glass cleaning cloth, an old fashioned cotton/ flax cloth that does the job quickly on car and house glass, mirrors, patio doors ...

AG Glass Polish.

Have to say this is my least favourite job when cleaning the car, and the inside of the back window is a pita to do as well!

Not surprised if you're using a kebab.

My method of choice and the easiest to do...

Just eat your chips in the car, and then instead of just throwing the wrapper away, use it to clean the windows.

Just don't ask for salt first at the chippy!
