First attempt at machine polishing

Finally found the time to have a go with my Silverline polisher and here are the results. I did have a practice on a scrap panel first but I was very impressed with the results. Only the bonnet done so far but will be the rest done eventually! All swirl marks and 90% of other scatches and scrapes gone. Started with a wash and dry, then clayed, then polished with a medium compounding pad and Menzerna Intensive polish, second polish with a light polishing pad and Menzerna Micro polish, then finally sealed with Poorboys EX with Carnuba.

It makes the contours in the bonnet stand out brilliantly, good job.

Next job is to fix all the stone chips! Can't recommend the machine polisher highly enough though....you have to be a little careful but it is far more effective (and much easier) than hand polishing.
