Wash mit

Can someone recommend me a decent wash mit please. All the ones I've tried before fall apart in no time.

Re: Wash mit

The lambswool mitts are the best out there, though I do believe they dont last as well as the microfiber ones.

Try the sonus lambswool though.

That's what i do with all my stuff, just bung it all in the washer after cleaning the car.

In answer to OP I have a Megiuars Lambwool Mit but I find it very big and baggy and it could easily slip off my hand.

Re: Wash mit

Depends on which mitt you go for from Meguiars...

I have one of their Microfiber Wash Mitts, its now used for rim cleaning.

I use a Sonus Lambs Wool Wash Mitt on the body work.

Re: Wash mit

To be honest mate the AutoExpress tests are useless. They dont cover a great range, nor to the have much knowledge behind them that way. Without sounding like a know it all, they test polishes and sealants and waxes, which are completely different products!

Re: Wash mit

I use a Meguiar's microfibre mitt as well, although I must admit I probably don't wash it as often as I should (just like my underwear )

I don't put it on my hand though, just hold it like I would a sponge. I don't enjoy the feeling of it just flopping about on my hand.

Lol you big jessie. Try a sheepskin mitt then, they smell bad and go alittle soft and slippery inside.. Not nice!

Re: Wash mit

Tesco are doing some excellent wash mits now. They are brown and really soft and duel sided (meshed to remove flies) and are very effective

The cost 3.99 IIRC and are from the Finest range.

Re: Wash mit

I have heard of the Tesco ones, I haven't seen them in person though.

I take it as they are in the finest range they taste better than their normal mitts?

Re: Wash mit

I agree about their towels, the roll of 6 towels is great value. There is a junk shop near me that sells the roll for £4!!
