Temperature Repellant Polish.

Remember those over the pond adverts when the polish was applied, then buffed off to a mirror gloss, and then lighter fuel was poured on the newly polished surface, set alight, allowed to burn itself out, and then, just a quick buff, to regain that shine? Dantes' Inferno polishing demo? Most impressive. Hunkering down now, and waiting.

I think the polish was Mer.....should have been called murder, and to what use would a fire beating body be when most fires start from the engine or a car theif.

I agree 100%. Keep telling the wife her Whale Bone corsets make not a scrap of difference, but she still insists on buying them.:

Isn't it a total con as if you pour most
flammable liquid on a surface and torch
it, most of the heat rises up.

his hand in Physics at school, I seem to
remember.)

Re: Temperature Repellant Polish.

I don't think Mer is that bad. It's a little bit powdery when you buff it off but otherwise the shine and durability is on a par with Autoglym Super Resin Polish.

I did test by doing half the car in one and half with the other and the Younger Mrs S. couldn't see any difference, never mind tell which side was done using which polish.

If I'm polishing a light car, I will still use Mer .. especially if it's a warm/sunny day - it doesn't mind so much if the paint is wam (as distinct to "hot").
