Waxing

What's the best cloth's etc to use to apply wax and polish a black car? The wax I will be using is the gold class stuff from meguiars.

Microfibre/cotton (lint free) for the final polish.Try to get a foam applicator pad (Halfords etc).The closed cells stop you from putting too much on.

Foam applicator pad to apply, many wax's come with them or here :

Foam Wax Applicator pads

MF's Get some here : Microfibre car cleaning cloths

Yeah foam applicator for applying the wax and microfibre to take it off.

I often find it's easier to work the polish if the applicator is slightly damp.

You can also get MF pads to to apply. Testing today after playing with my new G220

No problem, that was me you PM'd on detailing world about the wax btw.

But as a general note for anyone reading, for polishing (I use Super Resin Polish by Autoglym) I prefer the MicroFiber Pads. Makes the application and whole process easier. Following with Extra Gloss Protection then Collinite 915, both of these I apply with foam applicators. They are all cheap too!
