Well Happy Detailing for Nuvola Blue

Summer is on its way (in my head anyway!) and I want to give my bella the works.

What products and stages are best for the Nuvola flip colour? I am assuming I need a high level of clarity for the best affect.

I was thinking wash, clay, a light polish and a white carnuba wax based wax eg Chemical Guys xxx hard core wax .

Your thoughts please Ladies and Gentlemen

If you really want to see the flakes pop in the sun you need to use a synthetic sealant fella, something like jeffs acrylic works great for that

You could add wax on top if you want a warmer finish after, as the sealant can make it look very sharp.

Enjoy

Thanks dazzo.

Will jefs acrylic be ok as a final coat? I dont want to waste time and money on wax if it is not needed and will take the edge off the shine.

Thanks
Calum

Autoglym have just started selling High Definition Wax. I got my tub today but haven't had a chance to apply to the car yet. Maybe this weekend. Might be worth a look.

Certainly will mate, it should last a good 3 to 4 months too, depending on how often you wash it and what with

I would look at Pete's 53' from CG. Maybe Colli, or some of the newer Dodo range.

As with most things you need good paint preperation to really bring out the shine of a LSP - Wax..

Have a look here :

Best Car Wax by Meguiar's, Optimum, Poorboys, Pinnacle and Chemical Guys
