Using a rubber/eraser on black trim

If like me you apply paint sealant without masking off the black trim then you know how bad it looks when you over apply to these areas, you get white staining and look awful. I use Wolfgang deep gloss on my paintwork which is nice but it dries white on the black trim areas, so after some research I bought a black rubber (mine was in the shape of a football boot) and used it to rub off the affected areas and BINGO it does work!!

Any rubber would do, I chose black as it seemed the most appropriate.

Agreed, it is a cheap and effective product. Using an all purpose cleaner and soft brush will also do a great job. Using waxes which do not stain trim is also worth considering
