RAL Code for bright silver metallic

I sent my wheels to be powder coated.
I wanted a bright silver colour, but they came back a kind of dull grey...yuck.
The guy says if I can get the RAL code for what I want he'll re-do them foc. He reckons he used "wheel-silver" However they are only a light flat grey...no metallic and not really silver at all.

However...I've looked up RAL codes online and can't find anything for Silver...let alone bright silver or metallic.

Does anyone know where I can find these codes??

Seems a bit odd that I have to go hunting for a code, but the guy does powder coating...including alloy wheels, rather than being an alloy wheel specialist.

EDIT: Just found this, so the answer is 9006-M, although I think there are different versions of it.

I have been battling with RAL codes for the last few months on a completely unrelated project. And trying to get the correct colour and sheen for my Sud alloys, Sprint steel rims and Alfasud steel rims. All different colours of grey.

On steel wheels, it is likely powder coating will not get into the deeper recesses of a steel rim. So they can rust. Etch primed and paint, as they were originally, is where I am going. Except for the alloys. Most steel wheels are now painted bright silver but originally they are more of a grey.

However, you may well have resolved tw
o issues for me and one has to do with the other project and also the choice of finish from the alloys.

So many thanks.
