Insurers with mods

Hi all - prospective buyer of my Gtv is having issues getting a sensible insurance quote when declaring Q2, stainless downpipes and Gta wheels with Alfisti.net spacers. Full clean licence many years ncb etc.

Who are you all using with good cover, agreed value and sensible mods? Ta

I use Ries, my Elise is slightly modified and they are cool with that too.

No problem with the Autodelta j10 turbo coming my way in a week or so

My Alfaholics modded V6 was with Adrian Flux a few years ago, with no problem and a reasonable price at the time too.
All suspension mods, brakes, exhaust, seats, Q2 etc declared.

Adrian Flux are excellent for modified insurance.....I have my road legal hillclimb Skoda with them and literally every single thing on the car has been modified - £137 a year fully comp 3000 miles a year including travel to work

I go through AROC for my Alfas, both with minor mods declared and they are very competitive with good customer service. If you have the time, shop around and ask each insurer if they can beat your lowest quote. I used to have multicar with Admiral and when I said I was going elsewhere for renewal they magically managed to knock £100 off my premium. At least Dick Turpin has the curtesy to wear a mask.

Who declares stainless pipes ? They will put a hefty charge on ,but when if it comes to a right off claim they won't give you anymore

Greenlight are:

- perfect with mods - the Dogwagon which is absurdly modified - no charge on a £270 policy. GT 3.2 is about the same.

- good at not playing the “we’ll pull a number out of our arses and square it” game at renewal time,
