Alfa 1.4 Giulietta progression problems.

I just bought the car but I have some problems. And I need help to cure them please.
1) The millage keeps flashing.
2) Get this error message on Multiecuscan ( Convergence Telematic Node(L1 and L2)
3) Rear window feedback
4) Wiper rear cam
5) The rear wiper stops at any place when you switch it on.
6) The battery drains if left for a few days. When i checked if every thing is off there is a 0.24 amp drainage. Any one that had a similar problem. Any idea where it can be?

Is the battery getting old?
Every time anybody posts with these kinds of issues people suggest this!
A battery that has discharged never recovers and a low battery causes all sorts of warning lights to come on etc.

Hi, rear wiper errors will be either wiring loom or body computer issues, flashing mileage is due to changes in the canbus system nodes malfunctioning or being missing. Convergence module is usually the Blue and ME module but mine was the old Lauberhorn device. I know you said you have a new battery but I would try disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds and then trying to reset everything, steering lock to lock, windows up and down and go for a really fast lawful drive.

I had those faults when my rear wiper has a mind of its own.
Root cause was the wiring between car and tailgate failed which then took out the BCM. Didn’t cause flashing ODO though so you have a couple of different issues.
Have you tried a proxi alignment and also clearing the fault codes?

I see what you're saying but is it the [I]correct[I]battery? When I got mine, the dealer put on a brand new
battery (I watched him do it) but still had all sorts of problems. I took it back and he replaced it with the correct one and it's been absolutely fine for the past two years. Of course, you may have the correct one fitted already, and I can only wish you well to finding the solution.

If you just bought it, my advice would be to take it back - depends how long ago you bought it, and whether it's always done this ever since you bought it.

I bought it secondhand. So can't take it back and don't want to take it back. I got the wiper fixed. was wire in the tail gate. Got the flashing speedo fixed with proxy alignment. Only problem now is the battery that drains. If every thing is off there is a current of 0.24 amps that drains the battery. Can't find what the cause is.

Can someone please tell me what the use of fuse 36 is? In the manual it says (30 +) If I pull it out the drainage stop but the car still starts. I don't want to take it out because it must have some use???

I guess if you bought it privately second hand there's not much recourse, but if it's from a car dealer, they should be fixing it.

But if you don't want to take it back then that's your choice

Alfa Giulietta Alarm

Can someone direct me to where the Alfa Giulietta's alarm system is located. I know where the speaker is, I'm looking for the system itself or where to locate it's backup battery? I think that is what is draining my battery.

I don't believe there are any English manuals for our cars and that is the problem we all suffer? However the engines are used in Vauxhall's, so if you want some sort of manual for the engines look up Astra or Insignia forums for help

That’s the diesel engined Giuliettas. The 1.4 mentioned by the OP is a Fiat engine.
