Giulietta Launch Edition - Optional Extras?

Hi all.

First post on this forum. Hopefully about to become a first time Alfa owner. Waiting for a Giulietta QV Launch Edition with the right mileage and condition at Veloces London and a purchase will be made. I test drove a 64 plate matte grey example on Monday with 42k miles on the clock and completely fell in love with it. I've spent a year narrowing my search down to one of these (I like to do my homework and make sure all is right!) and was very impressed on my 30 min test drive (managed 20mpg on the first half giving it some, and 44mpg on the second half on an economy run, but still in D mode - quite impressive contrary to a lot of press negativity i've read). Before I purchase a car, when the right one comes up, I have a few questions on optional extras on this specific LE model. I am prepared to wait for the right one but I'd like to know if the LE had Bose, panoramic sunroof and heated seats as options? I know these were available on the 'standard' QV, but was it offered on the LE?

I have emailed Alfa UK, who didn't know so got Alfa in Milan to call me this morning, who couldn't tell me either! I have also searched the internet and this forum before posting, also to no avail on these specific questions. Awaiting a call back from local dealer in Swindon but they didn't sound hopeful either. Last chance is here so awaiting your help with baited breath if anyone has the knowledge and can provide a link or something concrete?

What I don't want to do is hold out for an LE to come up with all 3 required options (or at least one) if they were never available. It wont put me off though, but I will wait for one with nearer 30k or less miles.

Many thanks all and looking forward, as a to the core petrol head, to joining the Alfa owners community for the first time.

Marcus.

cue2, if you could somehow find a way to post that up, or even just a pic of the optional extras bit specifically for the LE, that would be very welcome.

Have you asked veloces of London? They seem to have a lot of launch editions go through their place so maybe they’ve seen them with options?

I did ask Veloces when I was there on Monday but they didn't know for certain.

Thanks for that. Is it possible to do the rest? Not the best use of a Friday night I know, but would be really appreciated 🙂

Sorry we crossed over there! Wonder if they were still available as options anyway same as on the QV? Really would like Bose, roof and heated seats but, saying that, not sure if I've seen one for sale yet with any of these?

Alcantara doesn’t need heaters?
But then I didn’t feel the need for a heated steering wheel before the Stelvio.

The cover. It’s Mito and Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde range.

Alcantara doesn't need heaters correct. But my injured back after a car accident years ago does. Makes such an amazing difference to my comfort levels having a heated seat on low on any long journey (other than a boiling hot summer day!).

Stingwray, do you mean there is currently an LE for sale with heated seats? Do you happen to have a link? Thanks.

Sorry it was a previously sold Launch Edition by Veloces. You can make out the heated seat switch on the side of the drivers seat.

If you go to you tube video of the one you drove there is another video on the right hand side (5mins 45s long).

I wouldn’t necessarily read too much into that, Veloces have a habit of using previously used images when advertising other cars, I guess it’s saves on taking all new new photos - I have seen a few Cloverleaf’s for sale indicating a pop up nav but then the next shows a standard head unit.

Sorry, regardless of whether they reused a video, it is a launch edition with heated seats.

Sorry, I misread your post - I thought it was referring to photos of a previously sold LE.

Are you on about the video of the blue Guilietta?

(Edit : Have you got a link to the video?)

Yes, they have manual trees. My mistake like yours saying saying it is electric lumbar adjustment on Q.V. seats.
