2.4JTDm 210hp glow plugs (again)

Hi everyone!

Again...which glow plugs are correct for 2.4JTDm 210hp 939.a9?
I know that most of you recommend to install Beru GN069(156.5mm length) but:
1)i've found 1 more option - Denso DG-629 with 160mm(???) length
2)another option is Febi 47508 156mm length
3)I've found genuine plugs for reasonable price with code 55208177 but EPER says that they are for Q4 version(KW154+TT4X4) only and I need to buy 55187863 for my VIN which are for KW147, KW154+TT4X2

Problem is that when I'm trying to find not genuine plugs I have options with short plugs if I'm searching via 55187863 code.

So...what genuine(and not genuine) plugs are correct?

Thank for your answers!

It really depends on which head you have. The early 210 heads were the same as the 200 heads. The later heads are deeper thus needing the beru GN069 156.5mm glow plugs. You buy to long ones i.e. the 160mm plugs, you’ll snap the tips off with the pistons and they’ll be rattling around in your cylinders on both size heads.

The problem is that I have already swaped engine because of cracked cylinder head.
"New" engine is from '08 car with VIN ZAR93900007137303 and it shows different code for plugs - 46792355
It have same head as 200hp version?

08 was when the deeper head started so I’d go for the BeruGN069 156.5mm or the Febi 156mm.

Thats's what EPER shows for VIN from "new" engine.
Should I get plugs off and measure them?
On old engine I've had short and long plugs from previous owner.

P.S. I'd prefer to buy genuine OEM plugs 'cuz I've found where to get them for very good price) but don't know which to buy

If you are not sure what’s fitted whip one out and measure it before ordering replacements

When I first got my car it had poor starting issues, my first port of call was to replace the glow plugs which I did in buying Bosch ones which the internet said were for my car. I still had poor starting issues. After more research I discovered the correct ones were the Beru GN069. I bit the bullet and paid the expensive price they are and have never had an issue since. So my advice is to bit the bullet.

Thanks guys!

Will get 1 or 2 from "new" engine and measure them.
Also will get off old ones and try to measure depths of fitting plase on both heads.

Also it’s worth getting a new glow plug relay for peace of mind.
