Thumbs Up Prodrive wheel colour code

Hello again folks,

Some of you guys may recall my 10+ posts last year...

Well, have finally found and bought a great driving 2.2 Prodrive, lightly remapped, rest original, 55k miles, in black, after many months trawling round / looking . Even got an ARUK authenticity certificate

In short - love the nimble yet flat and stable feel of it when moving on; bodywork all straight and clean; chassis showing some surface corrosion, so just last week been removed and waxoyled; am about to put the original CD player back in and remove/sell the Kenwood CD/DVD receiver currently.

Anyway, reason for the post is this: do any of you fine fellas know the paint code or name of the original Prodrive 19" alloys? It has the standard original grey ones but with some blistering / bubbling in the paintwork where the lacquer is cracked and past its best. I shall be getting them fully removed + refurbed so want to keep it in original spec.

Thanks for any info you can give.
Graeme

The closest I could get to it was 693/b when I had my Ti wheels painted
See my post in the best Brera whels thread for a picture

Welcome to the club. Which remap do you have? If you've driven another 2.2 do you notice any differences?

Hi I had one of my prodrive wheels refurbed and the guy that did it seemed to know as soon as he saw it-the colour match was excellent-it was powder coated light anthracite and the company was RAW wheels in York.
You could maybe give them a call and ask if they have a code for it.

I believe the correct paint code is 693/B (Grigio Anthracite). When I had my wheels refurbished I was suprised at the difference in tone between the original colour on front face of the alloys versus the rear, the fronts were significantly lighter. When refurbished they looked slightly darker, but this is correct as they were colour matched to the original paint on the rear of the alloy.

Hi, GlagowMito.
Bespoke remap by EcoTechTune in Manchester and yes, big difference as I've driven 3 x 2.2 Prodrives now - much better at low end revs in gears 2-5 which makes it much more responsive and great for blatting around country lanes on the moors which there plenty of here!

Crackin' avatar, Soul Survivor, and thanks for this.
I'll get my wheelman to match this up and leave him the rims for a couple of days.

Happy motoring!

Out of curiosity - Do you lovely bunch have any recommendations for Prodrive wheel refurbishment places? Ideally in the south of England...
Also how much did you spend per wheel or set?

Big thanks for that, they did have the code (of the nearest equivalent by Chromadex, light anthracite) and sorry I somehow missed you above in my attempted round-up of quotes/thanks !
