Is there a way to find out the paint code if the boot sticker is missing? Alternatively, is it possible to tell Nero Oceano from a different kind of black from a photo? Tree branch fell on my bonnet and trying to find a replacement in the right colour to keep costs down
A paint code is a three-digit code that is used to identify the specific color of a vehicle. It can usually be found on a sticker located in the driver's side door jamb, or in the vehicle's maintenance manual. To find the paint code for a specific vehicle using the VIN number, you can try the following: Visit the https://vinpit.com/license-plate-lookup. of the vehicle manufacturer and use their VIN decoder tool for vin lookup by license plate. This will provide you with information about the specific options and features of your vehicle, including the paint code.
also, paint will have discolored on the wings over the years. So go to a proper shop that will match the paint to the wings.
I think the 159 only has 1 black color, maybe also in metallic. Good shop will find you the proper paint code for your model.
