Wishbones, How long should they last?

Last year i replaced both front wishbones on my 1.8 8v, all was great. 12 months on and the car has started to show the same symptoms of waundering, press the brake it goes to the left, accelerate hard it takes you right!!! is there anything else that would cause these symptoms or is it the wishbones again?

Cheers

Stef.

could well be them again as mine felt like that after a year , but if they are only a year old perhaps its time to get the powerflex bushes from the shop as they will last longer .

Could also be the bearings of the rocker arms (??? sorry for my English) of the rear axle.
Jack the car up in the back and try to move the wheels sidewards back and forth. I could move them 5mm at least when I bought the car.
Good luck if you want to change them, it's such a pain in the a.. to do the job, if the rods are rusted into the bushes. I had to saw everything apart.

cheers

I checked the ball joints but to be honest i never thought about the trackrod ends, i shall have a look at the weekend, along with the rear arms but it does feel like the front end.

Cheers
