Passenger seat Air Bag wiring

I don't suppose anyone knows how the wiring goes under the passenger seat for a 156?

Basically I have both warning lights show up so after reading on here about the under seat being the main issue, I had a fiddle with the wires and this yellow wire just came out with a circular metal connector.

I have one yellow cable which contains two skinny wires going actually into the seat, one yellow cable which looks like some kind of fuse on the end (orange) and this third cable with a metal o ring, so where does this o ring thing go, any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I am going to be really cheeky, but if someone has a spare 5 minutes tomorrow, could you look under the passenger seat and see where all the wires go.

that looks like it should be fixed to the seats metal framework.

It does look like it needs to be screwed somewhere, but trying to look under a seat with 4 inches of space is nearing on impossible.

I could do with a wiring diagram or someone having similar cables to give me a clue lol .

Thanks for looking at this time of night, much appreciated!!!!!

strange, mine is a early 2000 and i have no wiring on the seats, i would atleast expect to find wiring in the passenger seat to tell the airbag system that the seat is occupied.....but nothing.....

On mine there is a box viewable from the back seat under the front seat (if that makes sense). The wires go into this box. Do you have the key switch on the passenger door dash area to disable passenger air bag? If so I'd assume you'd have similar wiring?

Well that's strange then, there must be wiring under the seat to allow this to work. Maybe yours is just better fitted than mine and hidden.

I am afraid the sensor pad in the seat is broken...not uncommon for a car that age (been there done that)

just read in the 156 Owners manual that the passenger seat "Presence Sensor" is dependant on "Version and/or Market", and i am 99% sure that my 156 is a "Dealer Parrallel Import", as it had no alarm fitted.
