Insuring two Alfas!!!!

Wonder if anyone else has managed to insure two Alfas on same insurance without the cost being too prohibitive.
Basically I have just bought myself a stunning GTV V6...I wasn't looking to buy it but I couldn't resist!!!
The problem is I still love my 156 V6 and would love to keep it.I do around 8-10 thousand miles a year and would cover this mileage in one or the other of my Alfas.
The both cars would not be on the road at the same time and I would be the only driver.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Although premiums seem to be going through the roof at the moment, your best bet is probably going to be Admiral on their multi car policy.
I was running 2 cars up until quite recently and the only other companies that came close to the quote from Admiral were Elephant and Bell...
Surprise, surprise, they all belong to the same parent company!

I know it's a month since you posted the question, so have probably sorted something by now, but Admiral covered both of our cars this year for the same premium Tesco wanted for one car!

Yeh all sorted now!!! Went with Adrian Flux in the end and used limited mileage policies on both cars... Normal companies like Admiral were miles out in price!!! Cost me an extra 150/year to insure the two cars so happy now!!! One to also try is Tradex... They do private fleet insurance... And will cover several cars on the one policy!! Was a little more expensive than AF ... But would have been less paperwork... And mileage limitations weren't as stringent so will give them another go next year!!! :-D

I had a similar issue having just bought a GTV V6, to go with my 159 daily driver. One "specialist" insurance company wanted 2,500 . I'm with Aviva on my normal policy and they offered me a discount to go with them, which meant a mere 1,000 was all I would have to pay

I found the best quotes were from "classic" car insurers, who will pretty much insure anything as long as you have use of another car as your main driver. Classic Line came through at 320 for the year with a 5,000 mile limit (which will be more than enough, unfortunately). This includes breakdown cover with homestart, so I didn't think it was too bad.
