Question for Dan Clark

Would I have to declare if I fitted OEM Xenon headlights to my 156?

If i do and i am in an accident, will I get paid out for the FULL cost o replacing them. Currently at around £650 each.

Hi,

If you are with Adrian Flux, Then yes you would need to declare all that is not factory fitted to your car.
In the event of an accident we replace like for like modifications.

How can you replace modifications when they are not legal...

Isn't that a bit dodgy.

But a Xenon mod is not legal as they glare other drivers.

Thanks for the reply.

Regards.

The 156 GTA could be had with xenons or no xenons. As long as theyre OEM units, then it ought to be fine if declared.

Edit:- just read its not a GTA - the xenons weren't available for non GTA cars, even if the connections and housing were the same. Difficult one to call - I guess just ask AF.

All perfectly legal.

These are the OEM units as fitted to 156 GTA's.

Thanks for the reply and yes, with AF for a few years now. Cheapest by far.

Xenons were an option, just not in UK IIRC.

I have a pair of OEM GTA Xenon headlights. Will be making a wiring loom to fit them as well as self levelling
