Obvious question about brakes and insurance

Do I have to notify my insurers for upgraded brake discs? Not changing size or anything, but getting drilled and grooved ones to replace my current knackered ones. I'm pretty sure I do, but just wanted to double check.

It's best to tell them of any changes you do.

Cheers, just hope it doesn't push up my premium too much, I'm not with a boy racer specialist!

Re: Obvious question about brakes and insurance

My insurance states that they need to be notified of "performance improving modifications" ... so obviously I've told them about my remap, koni shocks and uprated discs/pads ...
