Hmmm 4C tyre prices

Has anyone had to replace any rubber as yet (punctures or otherwise) and willing to share the cost and supplier?

I'm thinking that the Pirelli APs will be hard to find other than from an Alfa dealer!

I'm running the bigger wheel set up 18s front 19s rear so comparison between the smaller option would be interesting

Cheers

No need so far, thankfully. I'm not planning on staying with the Pirellis though once these are worn.

No changes in tyres yet. But doubt ill go back to Pirellis after this set tho.

Not currently wearing any Pirellis on my other Italians and they happier for it. Well at least from my perspective.

No need to change the tyres at 4000 km

I have the AR racingtyres in stock already, I am waiting for the posibility to order the black rims of the 4c Spider (no partsnumber available at the moment).

Than I can try the difference the AR en Ar Racing tyres

Actually im on 7000kms.

And had to replace a tyre as I hit a pothole and it damaged the wheel. So unfortunately I had to replace one even tho mileage is very low

Were the tyres easy enough to get hold of ? New rim as well ?

7000kms on a set of supposedly race grade tyres is pretty good... maybe you're not driving it very hard ?

I can order directly from Pirelli by my employer (tyre retailer)

I'm just waiting for the spider rims

I prefer the Alfa Romeo rims instead of a after market rims

Are the 18/19 tyres also set at the same tyre pressures as the 17/18's?

That is 26 front 29(psi) rear?

I will check them before I drive off from the dealer when I pick my cay up tomorrow

I'd be looking at moving over to the Michelin Super Sport tyres if available in your sizes.

Yes, that's what I run them at. BTW It's very sensitive to even slightly soft tyres, check them before each trip if you don't drive it each day.

That was my plan, but they don't do the exact size to match the fronts yet.
