That review almost exactly sums up my experience of the 4C.

Not having driven one, I think its a well written review. I am glad it does not do the whole "how-does-it-compare-to-Porsche-Cayman" over and over again, but lets the car run in its own right.
Man I need to win the lottery. Or just get a much better job

Refreshingly readable compared to the expectation from the parody-based motoring site .
Obviously the 4C is not a daily driver but what a toy it'd to own!

That review is spot on and entirely reflects my experience. When I first got into mine, I wondered why I'd bought it apart from its looks. After a few miles under the belt you learn how to go with the flow and have confidence to relax rather than hold on in terror! Brilliant.

Was thinking the sort of the same thing yesterday while reading the Autocar review of the new Lotus Exige S Roadster Auto

2015 Lotus Exige S Roadster auto review | Autocar

Funny enough not a word about the new auto box itself, which is still an "old tech" automated manual, and in camparison with the best, not one of the fastest. Let alone in comparison whit a double clutch box like a 4C has.

And ofcourse the usual Cayman comparison, which funny enough, feels rather large and cumbersome in comparison with the not even that light (1182kg) Exige, according to Autocar.

What's also funny; not a word about the 4C, or even the upcomming 4C Spider, which ofcourse is quite a bit more comparable with the Lotus then the Cayman will ever be.

Although Lotus are masters when it comes to suspension set-ups and steering it does seem that the British motoring press doesn't do the 4C much justice and even seem to ignore it.
