Went along to the launch of the Alfa 4C yesterday, a nice 2000, GTV6 and a 8C there among others to mark the occasion.

I see they are still applying their "M" stickers to the paintwork of cars

If they did that to my new car without asking I'd be most displeased !

It was a good show...
The stickers are paid for by the customers! Why should I pay to advertise their company???

Anyway I was surprised at just how good the 4c sounds when driving off! One of the owners took a friend of mine for a quick drive. I, in all honesty, would say it sounds just as good as the 8c...
And I'm told, with LC active, 0-60 is quicker than the 8c...

The white one was my fave. Lovely Matt pearl white. But at a 15k premium... Ouch...

Oh, it was also my 946 in the showroom, and the GTV spider and S4 spider were members of our local Alfa Club....

Hi there, I think it was me who took your friend for a spin in the 4C. It was in auto as still running in, (500 miles) The car seems quicker than my previous Gallardo up to 80 MPH and other than poor radio reception, looks like quite a good every day driver. I have had the front wrapped as it seems susceptible to stone chips and have mounted the front number plate through the towing eye, as neither alfas bracket or glue pads were acceptable. See launch night photos. Regards Kend.

Hi kend.
Andy hasn't stopped talking about how quick the 4c was when you took him out... Still has a smile on his face!

Sounds a good idea to wrap the front end, maybe suggest it to Alfa to do it as an optional extra???

Who needs radio reception when you have a symphony coming from the arse end! Haha

Hope to see you at a show at some point.

Danny
