Tony how is the gearbox of the 4C? Dont know if you have ever driven a Giulietta or MiTo TCT but it wasnt as quick as a DSG.

Have they improved it on the 4C? Also do you "feel" the gear changes or is it smooth? Double clutch gearboxes are really fast but i dont like the fact that they are so smooth you dont feel the gear changes

Id still get a 4C though if i had the money im so in love with the car

It depends which setting is used. In 'D' you can feel the changes but that is part of the appeal. Also you get a great noise of pops and bangs from the exhaust as you go up through the box. So, yes you do definitely feel the gear change. This is slightly less noticeable in 'N' but still evident.

I have, but only on a clear straight as I've only driven it six times and as it turns off the ABS and Stability control I need to practice more before I do it again.

Yes, but bizarrely, only if I use a six year old Dell desktop computer. My tablet still makes no selection when the 'choose file' prompt comes up.

Race Mode doesn´t turn off the ABS and also the stability Controll is totally off.

Yup, my test was runned in race mode. Unfortunately, test was planned through center of West Berlin, mostly through KuDamm and Kantstrasse.

That thing was turning some heads, not only by the looks.

Starts like crazy on traffic lights (ok, I admit that I felt a bit like a low life doing the same with neon pimped Golf 2, but this was unique opportunity to test it a bit; normally am disgusted by such behavior)

by the way, heard from my dealer that after after the cabrio version AR prepares the sport version of the 4C

so, that is why manufatcurers come up with smaller series of one type, then make it cabrio, then special racing version, then 13th version of Zonda (all look the same )

I believe that only implies for small manufacturers and only concerning emisions (and maybe safety) rules.

Has nothing to do with the 4C; Alfa makes too many cars of which are at least 3500 4C's a year.
