4c and 8c

What a brilliant day we had today ......... My son and I were invited to chobham/long cross test track to try out and compare the 4c to 8c for an article to be written for autoitalia magazine. We learnt a few interesting facts from the alfa sources for you budding alfa enthusiasts:-
A new v6 engine is to be developed.... Interesting!!!
An SUV is on the cards
There is a new replacement for 159 and it will not be called Guilia
There will be a 4c spider
There will be a 4c GTA
Two completely new Alfa models
They may be a possibility of a 6c
.......All to be happening before 2018!!!!!
The article will be out in approx 2-3 months, keep an eye out for it. Quite interesting I hope.

Only a really keen enthusiast or a muppett will believe all this is happening before 2018. Its taken years to get a few 4c on the road with many fed up buyers. Dont get me wrong im a true Alfa nut but i find it hard to believe.

Bit of positive Alfa news is always welcome Mario.

Let's not be like other annoying forums and correct spelling left right and centre.

It gets boring to read.

Any chance of some insights into the 4C vs 8C? Or do we have to wait for the magazine?

Interesting stuff.

Like so much Alfa speak in the past (159 GTA anyone), a lot of hot air most of the time.

Experience = Cynicism unfortunately.

Especially when it comes to Alfas.

Happy to be wrong though

It will be great news if any of it comes true (well except the SUV part, but I guess they need that to make some money).

This has a lot of the info already in it. http://www.chryslergroupllc.com/Inve...Alfa_Brand.pdf

It was the AR investor presentation given by Harald Wester.

Yup, we all saw that, but there have been at least three similar presentations promising new car ranges in the last 5 years and none of them came to fruition. The 4C was never in a previous presentation either. So they can't really be trusted based on past experience. But we can always hope and at least they have some real funding now.

Ambitious I think but I'll give them a chance. Let's hope they stick to that road map and produce classy, slick cars but then the cars are only as good as the dealer network !
