Chris Evans' 4C review

Just back from my parents place where my dad had saved me the Mail on Sunday's Chris Evans' Car review from last weekend.

Click on the link for the full piece:
Chris Evans reviews Alfa Romeo 4C: The seats are agonising. It clunks and judders. It's more Nora Batty than Kylie Minogue, but I'm in love and it hurts! | Mail Online

An interesting read.

Garage
I am having difficulty taking DailyMail seriously enough as it as, and the fact they are using stock photographs (of a preproduction) in the article and mentioning issues not found by any other review does not help.

Certainly not my paper-of-choice either, but interesting to read a review by an undisputed petrolhead nevertheless.
Yes, there are negatives in there, but for those that can't be bothered to read the full text, a few of the positive excerpts:

''the runt lovechild of the Ferrari F40 and the Nissan GTR Ė and more exciting than both of them put together. Fun fun fun, and then some.''

''To drive this car is amazing. Itís so raw, so responsive that every crack and bump in the tarmac jerks the steering wheel first one way and then the other in your hands. It drives you.''

''the closest thing youíll experience on Her Majestyís highways to a single-seater track car at full tilt, if you can hold on to your licence long enough that is.''

''cars like her are why the petrol engine was invented.''

All things considered, as balanced a review as you're ever likely to see.

I presume he's going to buy one then - he can certainly afford it!

Just shows how subjective this whole reporting business is. To Mr Evans this is a good point yet to other jurno's completely the opposite.
