The press release specifies 3000, not 3-4 thousand.

It is interesting however, it means the earlier news that Alfa is increasing production from 2500 a year to 5000 a year may be true.
I for one hope the production keeps up, so the 4C becomes a common enough car to buy in ten years time..

But the 4C was always supposed to be 3,500 a year...

I don't read it as increased production, but rather supplying Adler with OEM carbon parts for prepreg.

Maybe its wishful thinking, but the way I read it is that TenCate is adding its production to the chassis' being made by Adler in Italy. ??

What the article really says is that Adler will get ALL its carbon fibre pre-preg from TenCate in Nottinghamshire. That's all an exclusive supply agreement means commercially.
It also suggests that investment will be made in local manufacture - that is local to Adler - and that production will allow "Up to" 3000 units a year....... which could mean the 2,500 they are already committed to.

I wouldn't read too much into this announcement.
