New interesting 4C Video

Alfa Romeo 4C, first drive - YouTube

New interesting 4C Video with some different angles of the car and some nice underbody shots.

I am wondering where you put your luggage if theres no luggage compartment and your going away with the girlfriend (or mistress edit ) for a drive over the weekend somewhere. Youd have to put the luggage on your girlfriends lap or in the footwell

At 100k plus in Oz, you'd be going away with your wife/mistress, not your girlfriend.

Not sure many 20-somethings would have that sort of cash to spend on a car.

Wouldn't taking a 4C for a long drive qualify as "going away with the mistress"?
... which reminds me of the poor American Spider owner who in a bit of a Freudian slip told his wife "I'm going out in the garage to spend some time under my Italian girlfriend"

Apparently the boot gets as hot as an oven. Don't forget it's right next to the engine with no heat shielding. Everything in your toilet bag will explode (especially when you add the heat of Australia beating down on the glass back).

Plus side is frozen food will be cooked by the time you get home from the shops!

Boot should not be that bad, have an elise and that is fine, assume that as a FWD transmission midships the exhaust will travel between cabin and engine then down under - not sure where turbo is placed

How do you think the 4C will compare to the Elise ?

Turbo seems to be right in front of the engine, the silencer though right under the luggage compartment.

Am hoping the 4C will be more civilised and a nicer place to be, as I think the v6 exige would be a better dynamic prospect.

Easy....
If it's a wife you put her in the boot and luggage on the seat
If it's a mistress you don't need any luggage as I would hope you would either spend time in the car or in a bedroom

Life is good

Haha Very true !

Better still put the Mistress in the passenger seat, and get the wife to bring the luggage up with her in the Volvo stationwagen
